Itinerary

Narkanda, also known as the Ski Town, is just 70 kms from Shimla and is still unexplored. The place is no less than a mystical land. The town is known for its high levels of snow fall and its beautiful views of the snowscapes. This is also the apple capital of Himachal. The village of Kotgarh, is where it all began. The rich history and culture of the place would provide for endless stories during your stay here. A perfect pitstop as the altitude marks the much needed acclimatisation for the journey ahead.

SANGLA, a small town in Kinnaur, located very close to the Indo-Tibetan border. Carrying a rich Tibetan vibe, the scenic town mesmerizes you with Himalayan mountains, thick oak and pine forests, majestic glacier streams and the pristine Baspa river flowing through the valley. The roads of Kinnaur are known to attract adventure seekers from around the world and the drive from Narkanda to Kalpa is surely a memorable experience.
After breakfast depart from Narkanda for Sangla.

cHITKUL, the last Indian village on Tibet border, is nestled amidst awe-inspiring landscape of district Kinnaur. The Baspa River, gracefully winding its way through Chitkul, not only enhances the village's scenic charm but also nourishes the local ecosystem. Located so close to Sangla, its an ideal day visit to this pristine village, rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Start the day at ease as today we head to Chitkul.
After breakfast drive towards the last village of Baspa valley towards Tibet.
On arrival in Chitkul, spend the day exploring the village, local temple, Baspa riverbed and local cafe.
Head back to Sangla for night stay.

Tabo village, is one of the finest settlements in Spiti valley. The focal point of the village is Tabo Gompa, the oldest and largest monastery of Spiti. The monastery was founded in 996AD and is known as the ‘ Ajanta and Ellora of the Himalaya’. Tabo Gompa is an excellent example of resilient earthen architecture dating back centuries. It houses intricate wall frescos and rock inscriptions.
After breakfast depart for Tabo.
Stop at Khab Bridge to see the confluence of Sutlej and Spiti River
Lunch at Nako.
On arrival, check in to the finest Home stay at Tabo.

Kaza or Kaja as the locals call it is the headquarters of Spiti Valley in the Lahaul and Spiti district and for the travelers it is surely the ‘heart of Spiti’. The town is well developed with almost all infrastructure facility and provides for all basic amenities. Kaza has a lot to offer in terms of culture, heritage and magnificence, besides Cafe’s, eateries and shopping arcade.
After breakfast we visit Tabo Monastery to get a glimpse of Spitian and Buddhist history, heritage and culture.
We start our journey towards Kaza.
Drive up to Dhankar village and Monastery to see the confluence of Spiti and Pin River
Reach Kaza after noon and check in to your stay.
Evening dedicated to exploring Kaza town.

Explore the landscape beyond Kaza studded with numerous settlements at god forbidden altitudes. THESE LANDMARKS ARE CLOSER TO THE SKY THAN TO THE SEA. From writing postcards back home, to visiting the highest motorable village in the world, there is something for everyone and its surely a day of creating a million memories. After breakfast depart for the circuit.
Reach Langza and explore the area around the Buddha statue.
Head out to visit Hikkim – the highest post office in the world.
Visit the iconic Kee Monastery built in the 11th century.
Head over to Chicham Khas, Asia's highest suspension bridge.
Evening to relish in Kaza.

KALPA, is a quaint little Kinnauri settlememt, nestled in shadows of the mighty Kinnar Kailash peaks. As per the folktales, Kinnaur with all its beauty fell from the heavens as a gift from the Gods. Kalpa came to prominence when it was visited by British Governor General Lord Dalhousie in 1848. Its magical to walk through the village as one traces the thin line between Buddhist and Hindu worshipping complexes amalgamated together seamlessly.
• After breakfast drive from Kaza to Kalpa, tracing our path back
along the rivers of Spiti and Sutlej.
• Visit the famous Gue Monastery, and witness the 500 yr old 'mummy' of a buddhist monk.
• On arrival at Kalpa, check in to your warm rooms facing the mystic view of snow-laden Kinner Kailash Ranges.

Shimla, the queen of hills, carries an old world charm to it that never fades. This vintage town is capable of showing fresh nuance to its rich and varied character. As the former ‘Summer Capital’ of British India, it has a rare range of built heritage from the colonial times and is capable of showing a fresh nuance of its rich and varied character, every time one visits.
Shimla during winter remain covered in snow, giving the landmarks a unique appearance as compared to any other time of the year. It transforms into a true winter wonderland.
Drive along Sutlej to head back to Shimla hills.

Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the snow covered valley as you reach the capital.

Evening to leisure at Mall road.
